Proposal submitted in a contest, whose topic was the redesigning of the bedrooms’ layout in a hotel unit. Nature’s absence is more than obvious in the –typicallydensely built and lacking in green spaces- Greek urban landscape. The arrangement of the bedroom’s interior aims to reconnect the traveller with Greek nature, by depicting elements of the Greek countryside, envisaging at the same time to reflect its beauty by integrating its main components and features.
Our designing approach seeks to transform the bedroom’s interior into an urban haven, capturing the beauty of Greek nature and offering a sanctuary of calm, peace and quiet in the very core of the city. This way, the traveller gets in touch with the unique aspects of the local natural habitat and its singular characteristics.
